BBC Two screens 'Flemish' drama

Starting next Monday Britain's BBC Two television channel is screening a five part serial directed by Belgium's Jakob Verbruggen. For five Mondays in a row British television viewers will be able to see 'The Fall', a US-British co-production directed by the celebrated Flemish director.

Jakob Verbruggen is best known for 'Code 37', a series that went out on Flemish independent TV, VTM.

Gillian Anderson, officer Scully from the Sci-fi series 'The X-files' stars.

'The Fall' tells the tale of a serial killer who is being tracked down by a woman police officer. Jamie Dornan stars as the serial killer.

'The Fall' will be marketed by Lumière, specialised in crime series, in Belgium this autumn and should be screened by VTM too.

The series goes out on BBC Two on Monday at 10pm CET.
