El Greco exhibition in Brussels

At the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts an El Greco exhibition has opened. El Greco is regarded as one of the founders of the Spanish School of painting. The exhibition runs through Sunday 09/05/10.

King Boudewijn's last visit before Congolese independence

Exactly 50 years ago it was decided here in Brussels that the Belgian Congo would become independant on June 30th, 1960. King Boudewijn made a last trip to the Belgian colony in December 1959.
