Fri 20/07/2012 - 17:17 The draw has been made for the preliminary rounds of the 2012-2013 Champions League and Europa League competitions. In the Champions League, last seasons’ league runners-up Club Brugge will take on last season’s Danish cup-winners FC Copenhagen. Earlier in the summer, FC Copenhagen took on the former Anderlecht Coach Ariël Jacobs (photo) as Manager.

It will be Jacobs' first return to a Belgian stadium since leaving the 31-times Belgian Champions at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, Sporting Anderlecht has been drawn to take on either the Irish club Shamrock Rovers or the Lithuanian side Ekranas.

The Champions league preliminary ties will be played on 31/07 and 01/08 (first leg) and 07/8 and 08/08 (second leg).

In the Europa League, Racing Genk will take on either the Moldavian club FC Milsami Ohrei or the Kazakh side FC Aktobe in their 3rd qualifying round tie.

AA Gent will play either Slovan Bratislava or the Hungarian side Videoton if they succeed in maintaining or widening their one-goal advantage from the first leg in their 2nd round qualifying tie against the Luxembourg side Differdange.

The two-leg third qualifying round ties will be played on 2 and 9 August.
