"Ban on early summer sales is illegal"

22/06/12 - In Belgium, the summer sales traditionally kick off at 1 July.In the three weeks before that, shops are not allowed to promote or to give any discounts. However, a judge in Dendermonde (East Flanders) has decided that this goes against European regulations.
