151 million fake cigarettes destroyed

29/06/12 - In Antwerp, some 151 million counterfeit cigarettes have been destroyed. The shipment was seized in the port of Antwerp last year, and was the biggest ever to be seized by the Customs Department in one single operation. In Belgium, 6 percent of all the cigarettes that are being sold, are fake cigarettes. This is three times bad news, the Secretary of State for the Battle Against Fraud John Crombez explains.
