Brutal shooting in Visé takes 3 lives
The municipality of Visé, in Wallonia, was the scene of a brutal shooting on Friday night. A man and a 10-year-old boy were shot dead at the scene, while a woman who had sustained heavy injuries succumbed the next day in hospital.
The shooting took place in the Rue de Berneau in Wezet (Liège province), at a house near the city's sports centre, around 11pm. When the 3 victims wanted to enter the house, they were shot at from a car.
A 9-year-old boy and a 37-year-old man working in a bank died on the spot. The man's partner, a 37-year-old woman, sustained heavy injuries and died in hospital this morning.
The murderer(s) are still on the run. They are facing charges of triple murder. The judicial authorities said that at least 7 shots were fired. It is still unclear what could have been the motive for the murder.
